Variety: Merlot.

Category: Protected Geographical Indication Serres, Red dry.

Location: Emmanuel Pappas Serres.

Vineyard: Linear in altitude of 250m.

Yield per hectare: 1200 kg per acre.

Vinification: Classical red vinification in stainless steel refrigerated tanks with controlled temperature at 28-25 °C. Afterwards the malolactic fermentation is followed.

Ageing: For 12 months in oak barrels and 6 months in bottle for reductive aging.

Characteristics: Wine with intense red and violet hues, rich flavor with pleasant tannins, very long aftertaste and flavors of red cherry and vanilla. Wine with development opportunities to 10 years.

Food pairing:Pork, grilled red meats, various fowl in the oven, hunting with red sauces.

Serve: At 16-18 °C.
